# Expressions of Love

February is the time of year when the world focuses on the human emotion of love
and how we might and do express it to each other. It is frequently found in the 
symbol of the heart.

One of the most powerful verses about the love of God is found in Romans 5:8, “But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us.”

 In the Habits material of Lead Like Jesus, we talk of accepting and abiding in 
the unconditional love of God. Many would find this an unusual concept in leadership
material or even in the traditional listing of many of the Christian habits (disciplines).

We have found, however, that this love from the heart of God to sinful humanity 
is what makes the difference in combating the pride and fears of life and leadership.
When I know, really know, that there is nothing I can do or say that will separate
me from the love of God (Romans 8:39) then I can freely offer love, forgiveness,
grace, and mercy to others and apologize from a sincere heart for my own wrongdoings.
Do you enjoy the blessing of being unconditionally loved? You can! Trust Jesus as
your Savior for a lifetime of love that never changes!
